Except for a short (6 1/2 years) period when he lived in Palm Bay, Florida; Houston has been his home town all his adult life. He has seen the city grow at least 10 times during this period. Houston's weather is sub-tropical with mild winters and warm summers. One of the disappointments with living in Houston is that it only has two seasons, summer and winter. Other places he has lived are Scotland (Edinburgh) and France (Beziers).
